Every song paints pictures in the mind— and to accompany the new song A New Kind of Feeling, I wanted those pictures to move and embody the spirit and sense of the song. Not just a static album cover, not just abstract footage. I wanted the visuals to grow and shift with the music, breathing in sync with the lyrics.

That’s where Krea.ai came in.

From Image to Motion

Before touching video, I started with a single image—the visual DNA of the project: the performer, Vashyn.

I used Krea.ai’s image generation tools to create a moody, cinematic still of Vashyn: "A beautiful woman looking wistfully in the distance, standing in a Pacific Northwest costal forest interior at dusk, soft light light, fashion shoot, the kind of image that already felt like a memory."

This wasn’t just “cover art”—it was the frame every other shot would grow from.

Image-to-Text Sync

The magic happened with Krea.ai’s image-to-text sync tool. This feature allows you to feed in both your imagery and the song’s lyrics, and Krea.ai maps motion, transitions, and effects to match the timing and tone of the words.

I exported the acapella vocal track from Suno.com and chopped it into stems for the vocal parts. I used these audio clips to generate short videos.

Layering Atmosphere

One of the challenges was keeping the motion understated. This song isn’t a high-energy anthem—it’s slow, deliberate, a little haunted. Using Krea.ai’s style controls, I kept the frame grounded:

  • Camera drift: A slow, almost imperceptible pan, as if someone were quietly breathing behind the lens.

  • Depth layering: Foreground raindrops stayed sharp while the background blurred and shifted with the bassline.

  • Light animations: A faint glow would ebb and flow, like clouds passing over the moon.

Everything worked toward the goal: let the video feel like the song sounds.

Why Krea.ai Worked

The combination of AI-generated imagery and the image-to-text sync tool gave me something rare: the ability to control the emotional pacing of a video without spending weeks in editing software.

Instead of painstakingly keyframing every movement, I could describe what I wanted—“slow drift toward the window as the bridge begins” or “slight flicker of light when the vocal swells”—and Krea.ai would deliver a starting point I could tweak.

It made the process feel less like assembling puzzle pieces and more like sculpting a single block of memory into motion.

The Final Piece

When paired with the track from Suno.com, the visuals and audio feel inseparable—like they were born together. The camera lingers when the music holds its breath. The colors shift with the chord changes. And by the final note, the rain on the glass has slowed, almost stopped, leaving you in stillness.

With Krea.ai, A New Kind of Feeling became more than a song—it became a fully realized moment, preserved in both sound and sight.

Lyrics

There’s a new kind of feeling now
That will flash a reminder how
In the corner of your periphery
That sepiatones your memories
In red and blue and green
The flash of hours behind the screen
and deep uncertainty
of rewritten history

The hums in the back of your ears
Like the constant drone of the heater
Trying to break the chill
Of the Pacific Northwest stillness
That whispers under doors
And murmurs under floors
Reminding you of a moment
A wilting plant, a seed unsprung
The Puget Sound outside the window
A song must still be sung
